Come celebrate the Aboussie family September 12th - 15th in Fredericksburg, Texas. There will be large family events throughout the weekend and optional excursions in between.
A first of many - we plan to have this gathering every year on the same weekend!

Thursday, September 12th
COME & GO ARRIVAL GATHERING
Dinner at Mamacitas | 5:30 - 8 PM
Mamacitas Restaurant 506 E Main St (Map Link)
We have a reserved private dining room from 5:30 - 8 pm to provide an easy come & go dinner option for those getting into town Thursday evening. Cost for the fajita dinner: Adults - $19.50 per person and Children under 12 years - $15, not including drinks/tax/tip. No reservation is needed.
Friday, September 13th
DAYTIME HOSTED OPTIONS
Horse Experience at Marjorie Farms | 9 AM - 1 PM
Named after our beloved Sitti Marjorie, Marjorie Farms is just 10 minutes east of downtown Fredericksburg. This is a come-and-go invitation to learn about horses and the operations of a thoroughbred horse farm. Help feed, brush, and pet horses of all ages. Learn to ride a horse, lessons available (helmets provided, closed-toed shoes and long pants required for riding). Let John Hay know if you will join, 512-658-0009. No notice is needed.

West End Wine Tastings | 10 AM - 1 PM
A tasting experience of Texas and international wines. We’ll be visiting three wineries on the West End of the 290 Wine Corridor (between Fredericksburg and Stonewall). Approximate schedule (+/- 10 minutes):

EVENING LARGE GROUP EVENT
Kickoff Party BBQ On The Lawn | 3 PM Start, 5:30 - 8 PM Dinner
237 Draper Smith Ln (Map Link) Gate Code 1976. Once you enter the main subdivision gate, continue straight over the cattle guard. The home is on the left. Park between the cones.
A kickoff to the fun weekend including a dinner of hamburgers and hot dogs. There will be lawn games, swimming, music, and kids activities. Hosted at the home of John and Elisabeth Hay.
8 PM Optional Transportation to Albert, TX
For those that want to continue the party, group transportation to Albert, TX Dancehall will leave at 8 PM.

Hike & Explore 5 Seven 2 Ranch | 9 AM - 11 AM
A come-and-go morning on the ranch. Hiking and light walking options. Polaris rides. Birding and animal watching. Feed a longhorn. Arrowhead searching. Lebanese Potluck Dinner & Blast From The Past Party | 3 PM - 11 PM

There will be lawn games, swimming, music, and kids activities from 3 PM on. Lebanese Pot Luck Dinner from 5:30 - 7 PM followed by a “Blast from the Past” Decades Party. Use this sign-up sheet to volunteer to bring your favorite Lebanese or party dish. After dinner join us for a walk down memory lane... dress up in your favorite decade and let's have some fun! Costumes encouraged. Hosted at the home of John and Elisabeth Hay.
Sunday, September 15th
MORNING LARGE GROUP EVENT
Marketplatz Vespers | 8:30 AM - 10 AM

Meet at the park for a Sunday morning vespers with music, message, fellowship, coffee, and pastries. We’ll be outside at picnic tables on the Austin Street side of the city’s Marketplatz, a centrally located square downtown. For wiggly children, there is also a playground at the park.

Hiking
Join us for a hosted hike at a private ranch in Johnson City, 5 Seven 2 Ranch. You can also visit State Parks like Lyndon B. Johnson State Park, Old Tunnel State Park, and Enchanted Rock State Park.
Wine Tours
